Volunteers in Panamá

They work in community economic development, English education, environment, health and agriculture. During their service in Panama, Volunteers learn to speak the local languages, including: Embera, Ngabe, Spanish, Wounaan and Naso.

More than 2,255 Peace Corps Volunteers have served in Panama since the program was established in 1963.
