A spectacular cultural event February 19 & 20, 2011, when Jim Brunton brought
his Pajaro Jai sailboat to the shores of Los Santos with a crew of darienitas (Wounaan).
Jim and Bonnie Birker were both members of Peace Corps Panama Group 14.
Bonnie owns the
Casa del Puerto Hotel in La Enea, Los Santos. The two were able to catch up on our lives now that they both live back in Panama.
Jim and the Pajaro Jai are sailing to Europe/Russia in May. If you're in Panama before he leaves, it's worth trying to contact him for a visit. Check the
